RASHAYS - Tuggeranong

20/08/23 Went last Sunday for a quick bite, noticed there’s an increase on the overall menu. Kids meal doesn’t include ice cream anymore. We joined the loyalty program to get the 10% off but the final bill was still slightly higher. Edited review: Put it up by another star as they have check the quality control of the chicken patty of their burgers. But the staff gets flustered when it gets too busy & dessert just takes too long to come out & not easy to wait when you have young children. This time they forgot the ice cream from the kids meal and we could not be bothered waiting for another 10-15 minutes for it. Waffle & ice cream was overly sweet as a combination. Won’t order it again.. Took the kids back last weekend, was a very busy night, servers were run off their feet. Some were pulling more weight than others. Drink was forgotten. Food took longer to arrive as you’d expect. Fried chicken burger patties has shrunk dramatically yet again.. Edited review: Visited a week after our last visit & was disappointed with the taste & portion of the food which had dramatically shrunk. Taste wise it wasn’t as enjoyable as the first visit. The chicken wings were so tiny, it looked smaller than a kid’s meal. Service is still swift & friendly. Friendly & swift service, food was nice for the price point & kids meal are quite large & value for money as it includes a drink & dessert. Overall, we were quite happy with our visit.

My first time visiting this branch. Really like the ambience, very spacious, and bright. I haven't been visiting Rashays for quite a while now since they increased their price. Today visit was due to having a $10 birthday voucher. Ordered matcha latte which was good (its on the sweet-ish side) and sausage cheese muffin. Noticed that the muffin and hash brown has shrunk in size. But still tasted good. Love the generous portion of the delicious tomato chutney. The front staff was friendly and attentive. However service was slow. Latte came fast but muffin took a while to arrive. They weren't even busy at that time. There were only 3 tables with people. Overall, I enjoyed the experience. The grilled chicken breast was tasty but bit dry. The mushroom sauce was disappointing from the moment my plate was served in front of me, the look and texture of the sauce was quiet translucent, jelly like, lumpy/segregated when I moved the sauce with my knife or dipping cut piece of chicken in it. What I am describing is like canned food, dog or cat canned food specifically. Atmosphere and its staff could be improved on as staff are like robots and only focus on what needs doing - take orders, serving meals, take money... there's no happiness, joy, character, humour in staff. I cannot even say that staff are friendly and professional as I had to get up and ask for take away containers as staff are not looking in the direction of tables and customers to wave a staff member down.

Stopped in for dinner at Rashays in Tuggeranong a couple of nights ago. We had a chicken schnitzel with mushroom sauce, and the New York steak with mushroom gravy and an extra side of coleslaw. The chicken schnitzel was nice, however the steak was very average. Super thin and overdone (despite ordering medium rare). The mushroom gravy that we ordered with the steak also had a very odd taste to it. The coleslaw was the worst part of the whole meal though. It looked like old pre packaged coleslaw mix from woolies, with only a small squirt of mayonnaise on top (nothing mixed in). I took one bite and left the rest.

This is the third time I used to have lunch here. Everything is the same. The waitresse missed 1 of my order maincourse. Waiting for more 10 minutes. The food is fine. Chicken breast little bit over cook. Side salads are very small compared with extra large chips portion. I left behind most of my chips. Wasted. It is fine when you look for a quiet place to have lunch.

Went today for a late lunch today around 2:00pm. Really love this place but I'd say service struggled to keep up today. Place was extremely dirty. About 12-15 tables had previous peoples food left on it and tables were sticky from drinks spilt. Staff obviously were struggling to clean after people had left. It was my fault for coming at end of lunch service but dam I've never been to a restaurant that was this chaotic. I'd say they were down waiters and it seemed everyone was doing multitasking. On a positive the food was reasonable and tasty. The salad on the side of my schnitty and chips was pretty ordinary. Just lettuce and dressing. It seems the price has increased in the last month or two. A few dollars more for the same order. I'll be back but they need to improve cleanliness and stand levels
